Red Cross Online Training

The American Red Cross in Madison/Marshall County in conjunction with the Greater Indianapolis chapter is pleased to introduce a new learning module that provides the opportunity to combine online learning with classroom instruction. This new structure provides greater flexibility for learning valuable lifesaving skills at your own pace and on your own time.

If you have a computer that has Internet access and meets minimum operating requirements, you can participate in exciting new first aid, CPR and AED blended learning courses from the American Red Cross. The first part of the training is taken online, which allows you to learn at your own pace. You also have the option of going through the course in an abbreviated format and testing out of lessons with which you may already be familiar. And you don’t need to worry about interruptions at home from kids, phone calls or ringing doorbells.  Red Cross Web-based training can be stopped and started according to your busy schedule.

The second part of your training will be led by a Red Cross-trained instructor at the Madison/Marshall County Chapter. During a 2-hour skills practice and assessment session with an instructor, you can practice and demonstrate the skills you’ve learned and earn certification.
